Founding Story & Inspiration

The idea behind Palouse Records began in high school when Dylan envisioned a record label that would empower bands by removing the steep learning curve of recording, mixing, mastering, and releasing their music. That dream took tangible form in 2024 when, while working on a project with Steve and Nicole, we discovered that each of us brought unique strengths to the table—collectively, our skills naturally aligned with the full spectrum of what a record label offers.
